The EU-funded project 4RinEU kicked-off in 2016 with the objective of defining robust, cost-effective, and customisable deep renovation technology packages. Five years later, we can see the results of such ambitious project in four demo buildings located in Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy.

The “La Vall 9” building in Bellpuig, Spain, was renovated with cutting-edge technology for deep energy renovation

The residential four-story building is part of the EU-funded project 4RinEU. The renovation took place between 2020 and 2021 and involved the use of prefabricated multifunctional timber façade modules to improve the insulation and cut the primary energy demand of the building by 60%.
